Since Montreal Stencil was founded in 1875, rubber stamps have been at the heart of our product offering. Once our best-selling product, our company has grown and diversified, but stamps remain an important part of our product offering. In the past, rubber stamps were produced using a vulcanization process in which the rubber was molded and hardened in hot presses. This process required the production of a negative in a darkroom and Bakelite molds to press the uncured rubber. We have changed with the times and now use state-of-the-art laser engraving machines. Stamp matrices are engraved from a sheet of rubber and then mounted on traditional wooden handles and self-inking handles. Our standard turnaround time is fast, and we offer expedited service for an additional fee.
We offer a range of date stamps and numbering stamps, both manual and automatic, as well as ink for special applications.
Our customer service team is ready to help you find the right marking device and inks for your application. We work with Adobe software to produce our stamps. Our file requirements can be found on our FAQ page.
