About us
Montreal Stencil (1875) and W.D. Armstrong (1915), later known as Etampes BelleMarque, were established at the beginning of the last century. After mastering the manufacturing of stencils and steel engraving, the two businesses each focused on using new technologies to develop additional markets and affirmed themselves as industry leaders in the field of engraving, signage and rubber stamping products.

After many years of competing against each other in a friendly rivalry, W.D. Armstrong acquired Montreal Stencil in March of 2000. Today we continue the tradition of quality products and services under the name of Montreal Stencil and are proud of our more than 140 years of experience in marking and identification products.
Advances in communication and transportation services have shortened the distances between shipper and receiver permitting us to serve our customers in Quebec, North America and around the world.
